Welcome to the Holden Surgical Society!
Who we are
The Holden Surgical Society is dedicated to developing an interest in surgery among medical students and to providing resources and events to aid students in furthering their surgical careers.
What we do
We regularly hold lectures, suture workshops, and journal clubs to inform students about the various surgical specialties, teach the fundamentals of suturing, and keep students abreast of important research in surgery. We are currently working on several exciting new projects that will provide more hands-on learning opportunities as well as structured guidance and mentorship to students who are interested in pursuing surgery. Stay tuned!
How to get involved
Simply attending one of our events is the easiest way to get involved. Our events are open to everybody and we regularly send notifications to the class about our upcoming events. If you have any questions, would like to know more, or would like to get involved, feel free to email the society executives via the contact form below.
